Brand-new 2025 and 2026 cars in junkyards: 35 on the lots
Cars from model years 2025 and 2026 that are already in U-pull junkyards: burned, crashed or picked apart within months of leaving the showroom. A year can be the yard's typo, so check the listing. Counted on the self-serve lots we read in the US and Canada, as of .
Our reel “Junkyard census #9: brand new” counted 35 on (27 from 2025, 8 from 2026 (a TAO TAO moped left out)). This page is recounted every night: cars get pulled and crushed and new ones land, so the two numbers drift.
